The Elderly Work and Social Activity Support Project is a support program organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Senior Citizens Workforce Development Institute to help the elderly lead a vibrant and healthy old age.
It is a program that supports various jobs and social activities.
Eligibility: 60 years old or older (must complete training provided by the development center and implementing organizations)
Support: Up to KRW 2,400,000 per person for labor expenses after participating in an internship for 3 months and signing a contract for continued employment
How to participate:
1) Submit relevant documents to the city or district or the implementing organization (recruiting organization) and consult with them.
2) Participant selection: After verifying qualifications such as whether or not they receive basic living allowance through relevant documents and computerized systems (Social Security Information System, Saenuri System), participants are selected in order of high scores according to the selection criteria.
3) Business participation: Participants sign an agreement or labor contract and conduct business after receiving relevant training.
