제가 이번 주 발표할 논문은 2018년 the Journal of Immunology에 publish된 
Curcumin Suppresses IL-1β Secretion and Prevents Inflammation through Inhibition of the NLRP3 Inflammasome 입니다.

해당 paper에서는 curcumin이 LPS priming pathway와 inflammasome activation pathway를 supress하여 caspase-1 activation 과 IL-1β secretion 을 억제하는 anti inflammatory한 curcumin의 효과를 다루고 있습니다.

Curcumin의 anti-inflammatory effect를 확인하기 위한 실험적인 scheme과 방향을 참고하여 공부해보기 위하여 해당 논문을 선정하였습니다.
