Atmospheric Environment

The movement of toxic gas and dusts in the air can be effectively predicted by aerodynamic approach, and it is very helpful for the development of prediction and alarming system for dust and gas diffusion. The field experiment for the study has many shortcomings, such as very limited measuring points at the spacious area and artificially uncontrollable and unpredictable weather condition. To overcome the difficulties of the field experiment and to effectively obtain the reliable results, some additionally aerodynamic technologies have been used such as Weather Research & forecasting model (WRF), Computational fluid dynamics (CFD), etc. The topography of the simulation can be also designed using local GIS data, and the theories of Wind erosion equation (WEQ) and Euler equations have also studied including their interfacing technologies.
