Wanhui Kim

I studied undergraduate agricultural biology at Korea University, obtained a Ph.D. degree from Université Paris XI in France. During my Ph.D., I researched on the epigenetic regulation of plant development.
I conducted postdoctoral research at Korea University, focusing on the ambient temperature sensing mechanism of microRNAs for controlling flowering time in plants.
I have been a research assistant professor at Seoul National University since 2017. I am currently researching on the role of pathogen effectors in plant immunity and development.
When I am not in the lab, I enjoy taking nature walk, reading a book, and watching criminal series.
